Golf Programs

Members enjoy a full calendar of mixed events, tournaments, and invitationals. The Men's SWAT and Women's Golf Association provide friendly competition throughout the season.

The SWAT

The SWAT, short for "Single Without a Time," is a longstanding Longue Vue tradition. It is a way to easily and quickly find a game, play with different members, and meet new members. With weekly SWAT events taking place on Saturday and Sunday mornings, there is a place for players of all skill levels. The "H" SWAT is played from the blue tees and recommended for players with a 12 handicap or less. The White tee SWAT is available to all golfers looking for a game. The teams and games change each day. The SWAT at Longue Vue genuinely is something special and fully exemplifies the camaraderie of Longue Vue's membership.

Women's Golf Association

The Longue Vue Women's Golf Association plays weekly and hosts many wonderful events and tournaments throughout the season. The first tee is reserved for women golfers on Tuesday mornings. Our ladies "7 Holers" group meets one evening a week during the season and is a great way to grow your game in a fun and stress-free format. Our Golf Professionals give a complimentary clinic before the group sets out to enjoy seven holes, and each novice golfer is accompanied by a more experienced golfing "mentor." The 7 Holers group is a wonderful way to learn the game of golf or simply brush up on your skills.

Junior Golf

The Longue Vue Junior Golf program creates a fun, positive learning environment where young golfers can learn and improve their game. Our staff is committed to helping young golfers develop excitement about golf and an overall enjoyment for the game. Clinics and private instruction are available, and a Junior SWAT is offered during the season.
